2024 WATER KOREA

Introduction to WATER KOREA

WATER KOREA

WATER KOREA It is Korea's representative exhibition specializing in the water industry .

This expo, which first started in 2002 and has been held annually since then, holds various related events such as seminars and conferences along with exhibitions of equipment and equipment related to water and sewerage.

It is held every March touring KINTEX (Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do) and local regions, and has established itself as a venue for Korea's water industry festival where domestic and foreign water industry-related workers participate.

WATER KOREA first began as an exhibition event in Daegu Metropolitan City in 2002. It was a time when there was no concept of the water industry, and it started as a specialized exhibition for water supply and sewage equipment (B2G) rather than a general exhibition (B2C).

WATER KOREA began as a cooperative relationship co-hosted with local governments that are member organizations of the association, and was co-hosted with Daegu Metropolitan City for the first year. As the years passed, conferences, seminars, various contests, citizen participation programs, and member exchange programs were developed, and it has established itself as an expo that represents Korea's water industry, both in name and reality.

WATER KOREA has been touring special and metropolitan cities and is currently held every other year, touring KINTEX and regional areas once each.

In the past, it was held every November until 2011, but considering the characteristics of the water industry, the event was moved to March in 2012 and is being promoted in conjunction with the World Water Day government commemoration ceremony (every March 22).
