What is an automatic reset type leakage circuit breaker? Function: When the circuit breaker operates (trips) and cuts off the power due to an abnormal situation such as a leakage current, this is a circuit breaker that has the function to automatically release the cutoff and restore the power after eliminating the cause if the cause is temporary (e.g. lightning, noise, etc.).
Application: Mainly used in environments where a single power outage can immediately lead to a failure, such as unmanned facilities (base stations, tunnels, streetlights, etc.), facilities that are difficult to maintain, and industrial sites where power supply is essential.
Features: Automatic recovery in emergencies such as temporary leakage, lightning, etc. However, if leakage occurs continuously (i.e. actual fault), it will not be recovered and requires administrator intervention. It will not be automatically recovered in cases of overcurrent or short circuit.

What is a Type B leakage circuit breaker? Function: This is a leakage circuit breaker that can detect and block various types of leakage currents, including AC (alternating current), DC (direct current), and harmonics (including high frequency).
Application areas: Essential for industries and facilities where direct current and alternating current signals are mixed or where many harmonics are generated, such as EV charging facilities, solar power facilities, inverters, and IT equipment.
Features: Capable of tripping on various types of leakage currents, such as sinusoidal AC, pulsating DC, and smooth DC. Stricter protection features than Type A leakage circuit breakers. Mainly required for modern electrical equipment, especially EV and renewable energy equipment.
