The device must be installed in a place where electricity is used, and in particular, if necessary, the supply facility must be changed or a dedicated supply facility must be installed before using electricity.

Electricity Supply Terms and Conditions Enforcement Regulations Article 26 [ Facilities such as protective devices for electricity use ]

(1) For customers who use electricity from arc furnaces, electric railways, etc., and who are concerned that flicker or harmonics (hereinafter referred to as “flicker, etc.”) may interfere with the use of electricity by other customers, KEPCO will provide flicker, etc. must be reviewed.

(2) Customers who must undergo a review of Flickr, etc. pursuant to paragraph 1 must submit the data required for the review to KEPCO no later than 6 months before the scheduled date of commencement of supply.

(3) If the result of reviewing flicker, etc. exceeds the allowable standards set forth below, a protective device must be installed at the customer's expense.
