1.1 Purpose

1.1.1 The purpose of this specification is to construct a suitable lightning protection equipment by specifically explaining the structure, characteristics, and installation of the ion-radiating ESE wide-area lightning rod Prevectron.

1.1.2 Lightning rods play a role in protecting buildings and protected objects from direct lightning, and guided lightning must be protected with surge protection devices and bonding (SPD; Surge Protective Device).
