Electric vehicle ultra-fast charging stations were opened in both directions at the Cheongdo Saemaeul Rest Area located on the New Daegu-Busan Expressway.

Daeyoung Chaebi (hereinafter referred to as Chaebi) announced that it began operation on the 19th by building a charging station capable of simultaneously charging six electric vehicles in both directions at Cheongdo Saemaeul Rest Area, the only rest area on the Daegu-Busan Expressway section.

The electric vehicle charging station at Cheongdo Saemaeul Rest Area, which opened on this day, consists of two 300kW ultra-fast chargers and four 100kW fast chargers in the Busan and Daegu directions, respectively.

So far, the Cheongdo Saemaeul Rest Area in the Busan and Daegu directions has been operating with less than two fast chargers, but the need for additional charging infrastructure has been continuously raised due to the rapid increase in the number of electric vehicle users.

The expansion and opening of Chaebi's ultra-fast charging infrastructure, which reflects these customer voices, is expected to greatly improve the charging convenience of electric vehicle users using the Daegu-Busan Expressway.

In addition, Chaebi explains that the charging time, which took about 40 minutes to 1 hour to charge up to 80% of the vehicle battery using the existing Ministry of Environment fast charger, is shortened to about 20 to 30 minutes when using this ultra-fast charging station.

Chaebi has approximately 9,000 charging infrastructures focusing on ultra-rapid and rapid charging, which are highly preferred by domestic electric vehicle users, and is solidifying its position as Korea's No. 1 electric vehicle charging business through continuous investment in charging networks.

In addition, through active global business promotion, we are achieving visible results by leading the K-electric vehicle charging boom, such as selecting subsidy business operators and exporting chargers in the United States, Japan, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Poland, etc.

In particular, Chaevi is a one-stop charging solution provider that has secured all technologies and services for electric vehicle charging services, from charging infrastructure to platforms and service apps, and is further expanding its market share in the global charging market.
